Roadmap
Sketchbooks up to Category:Sketchbooks/Quebec are uploaded and each page has a template.
Below, in a tentative arrangement, I outline next steps, features and goals for the sketchbook collection:
- Correcting cataloging for bulk uploaded page numbers.
- Correcting authorship assignment per MediaWiki (I think this is changing the term "Creator" to "Author")
- Adding rudimentary navigational options at the page level (previous page, next page).
- Write and enhance sketchbook descriptions.
- Sorting out what I want to appear on file pages versus file talk and if I will do category subpages for the sketchbooks (probably not unless I can do them programmatically).
- Using file talk pages for cataloging including transcriptions, tagging, linking references, discussion. Quebec 21 demonstrates the use of a an Image Map for transcription. The file talk page for Hugo and Joy Puzzle over a Game indicates the sketches the illustrations are sourced from.
- Formatting for linked open data. Especially Dublin Core basic metadata.
- Audience and content warning system
