Roadmap

Sketchbooks up to Category:Sketchbooks/Quebec are uploaded and each page has a template.

Below, in a tentative arrangement, I outline next steps, features and goals for the sketchbook collection:

  1. Correcting cataloging for bulk uploaded page numbers.
  2. Correcting authorship assignment per MediaWiki (I think this is changing the term "Creator" to "Author")
  3. Adding rudimentary navigational options at the page level (previous page, next page).
  4. Write and enhance sketchbook descriptions.
  5. Sorting out what I want to appear on file pages versus file talk and if I will do category subpages for the sketchbooks (probably not unless I can do them programmatically).
  6. Using file talk pages for cataloging including transcriptions, tagging, linking references, discussion. Quebec 21 demonstrates the use of a an Image Map for transcription. The file talk page for Hugo and Joy Puzzle over a Game indicates the sketches the illustrations are sourced from.
  7. Formatting for linked open data. Especially Dublin Core basic metadata.
  8. Audience and content warning system
